MARK F. ROACH
My name is Mark F. Roach and I am an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Jeffrey S. Posin and Associates. I have lived in Las Vegas since 1978 and consider myself almost a native! I attended the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1989, and then obtained Nevada teaching credentials. I worked as a high school teacher for the Clark County School District for eleven years before leaving that field to be a lawyer.
When UNLV announced that it would have its own law school, I applied to be a student and was accepted as a member of the charter class at the William S. Boyd School of Law. I graduated from law school in May 2002 and later that year I took and passed the Nevada Bar Exam. I was admitted to practice law in Nevada in October 2002. I am a member of the American Bar Association and the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association.
I have found that my background as an educator has been very valuable to me as an attorney. I use my teaching skills every day to explain difficult concepts to my clients and make them understand what their rights are in light of the legal issues they are facing.
My areas of practice include personal injury, family law, bankruptcy, and criminal defense.
